DIY Father’s Day Gift
Father’s Day is coming up soon (June 19th to be exact)! Have you thought about what you will give the Dad in your life? I have the perfect DIY Father’s Day gift idea that every dad will love. Last year I wanted to do something special for my husband for Father’s Day to show him how much we appreciate all he does for our family. My husband is an amazing dad to our two boys and he didn’t want anything for father’s day. He’s always telling me not to spend money on him and just put it away ... View Post
Caned High Back Chair Makeover
I am so excited to share this caned high back chair makeover with you all! Let me start by telling you a little story of how this chair became mine. Repurposed Entryway Bench
I am so excited to share this project with you all and show you how I repurposed a hand-me-down TV console into a beautiful entryway bench! A few years back (like eight). This console is probably about 15 years old and very utilitarian. We used this console for its intended purpose until two years ago when we moved into our townhome and ... View Post
Gorgeous Spring Wreath

Our front door is pretty boring and the color of our door is hands-down ugly. Unfortunately the home owners association regulates the color of our front doors, so I can't do anything about it except add a pretty wreath and dress it up. Call it karma, kismet or just good luck, but Michael's sent me an email with 50% off of all ... View Post
Repurpose a Sentimental Gift
One of my very best friends had a beautiful apron made for me five years ago. It was a bridal shower gift and it has my monogram embroidered on it. It is really beautiful, and the first gift I received with my married monogram. I have always loved this apron-so much so, that I used it often and eventually stained it so badly that it just sat in a closet for the past two years. I have always wanted to repurpose this apron since I hated the idea of throwing away such a sentimental gift. When ... View Post
