Black and white DIY gallery wall

Black and White Gallery Wall

Create and Black and White Gallery Wall I have been in love with the concept of a gallery wall for years, but never thought I could successfully execute a gallery wall in my own house.  We have huge vaulted ceilings in our living room and I have wanted to fill the wall behind our couch with pictures and wall hangings that reflect our style.  I finally got the courage to put together a gallery wall- but not just any gallery wall.  I chose to create a black and white gallery wall with accents of ... DIY Father’s Day Gift

Father’s Day is coming up soon (June 19th to be exact)!  Have you thought about what you will give the Dad in your life?  I have the perfect DIY Father’s Day gift idea that every dad will love. Last year I wanted to do something special for my husband for Father’s Day to show him how much we appreciate all he does for our family.   My husband is an amazing dad to our two boys and he didn’t want anything for father’s day.  He’s always telling me not to spend money on him and just put it away ... Caned High Back Chair Makeover

I am so excited to share this caned high back chair makeover with you all! Let me start by telling you a little story of how this chair became mine.  I attended an auction two years ago where there was a ton of furniture and lots of mismatched chairs that didn’t look like they were in great condition.  The chairs were the last thing to be auctioned off and there were probably only about 15 people still around.   The auctioneer was basically giving them away.   I told my husband, “If he gets down ... Repurposed Entryway Bench

I am so excited to share this project with you all and show you how I repurposed a hand-me-down TV console into a beautiful entryway bench! A few years back (like eight).  My husband (then boyfriend) inherited a TV console that his buddy was getting rid of, as he was getting married and his fiancé had something a little nicer.  This console is probably about 15 years old and very utilitarian.  We used this console for its intended purpose until two years ago when we moved into our townhome and ... This DIY Spring Wreath easily transitioned to a beautiful simmer wreath with the addition of a burlap bow and a couple of American flags.

Gorgeous Spring Wreath

I have seen some gorgeous spring wreaths on Pinterest and Etsy lately.  Seeing these beauties inspired me to head to Michael's and get some supplies to make my own.  Our front door is pretty boring and the color of our door is hands-down ugly.  Unfortunately the home owners association regulates the color of our front doors, so I can't do anything about it except add a pretty wreath and dress it up.  Call it karma, kismet or just good luck, but Michael's sent me an email with 50% off of all ...
