I am so excited to share this beautiful lamp transformation with you all! Does it bother anyone else that homes are not built with overhead lighting anymore?  The house I grew up in had overhead lights (and ceiling fans) in every room.  That meant you could flip on the switch by the door of any room and the light hanging from the ceiling would magically come on.  I think every home I have lived in that was build post-1990 has lacked overhead lighting.
