Make This DIY Tic Tac Toe Game With Your Kids This Summer

Hey hey! It is allllllllmost summer and we are ready to spend some time outside with friends and family this summer!  Today I want to show you how to make a DIY Tic Tac Toe game using Chalk Couture.  This is a simple DIY you can easily make with your kids! It would make a fun  activity followed up by a summer full of playing Tic Tac Toe!

If you are new to Chalk Couture- START HERE.

My 6 year old has gotten into playing Tic Tac Toe.  A lot of times we play on his white board, but that also means tracking down a not-so-dried-up dry erase maker! I’ve seen some Tic Tac Toe pieces online and was considering buying a set until I realized I had all the supplies to make my own DIY Tic Tac Toe game!

Here’s what you need

Chalkable chips
Star pattern
Blue paste
Red paste
Squeegee

I made these in patriotic colors since Memorial Day is coming up soon; however, you can pick from a number of patterned transfers and paste colors!

All you have to do is simply chalk the pattern on the the round surfaces.  Check out this video showing you exactly what to do!

With a squeegee, you apply a small amount of paste onto the reusable silk screen stencil.  Squeegee off any excess paste, lift the transfer and then repeat on the next round chip.

What I love about this game is that is it portable and you can play it anywhere!  I used red washi tape (painters tape works too)  on a table, and my 6 year old and I also played in the driveway yesterday afternoon and marked our game board with sidewalk chalk.
