Frozen Citrus Berry Rum Cocktail

It is week four of our summer cocktail series and I thought I’d cool things off with this frozen citrus berry rum cocktail!  Sometimes I just need a refreshing cocktail and I don’t have time to head to the store.  I happened to have all of these ingredients in my house, so the frozen citrus berry rum cocktail was invented! Simple ingredients are needed for this frozen citrus berry rum cocktail.

The other day was beautiful and the kids wanted to play outside after they got home from preschool.  I decided to make myself a cocktail, fill some water balloons, pull out the sidewalk chalk and head out with the boys.  We made rainbows with the chalk, had a dance party in the driveway, rode bikes and had an epic water balloon fight! Have a water balloon fight while sipping this frozen rum cocktail.

This cocktail is easy to make, and like me, you probably already have everything in your house!

What You Need

Frozen Strawberries (a handful)

Lemonade Concentrate (a tablespoon)

Rum (a couple of ounces)

Water and Ice!Frozen strawberries go in this rum cocktail.

How To Make It

In a blender, toss in a handful of frozen strawberries and a tablespoon of lemonade concentrate. Add a couple ounces of rum (one to two ounces depending on how strong you want it).  Next, add a cup of water and a handful of ice.  Blend until smooth. This frozen rum cocktail is delish!

If you have lemonade in your fridge, you can just replace the frozen concentrate and water with lemonade.  I keep a can of frozen lemonade concentrate in my freezer for random recipes.  I just scoop out what I need, put some press-n-seal over the top and place it back in the freezer!

Looking for a refreshing rum cocktail? Try this frozen citrus berry drink!

This is such an easy cocktail.  I love using frozen fruit in frozen cocktails because it doesn’t get watered down by ice.
